Our Story

A journey of passion, community, and transforming lives through the performing arts

    How It All Began

In the fall of 2018, a group of dedicated parents and teachers gathered in the Heritage High School theatre after an emotional audition day. They had witnessed something heartbreaking: exceptionally talented students walking away from the program, not because they lacked skill or passion, but because they couldn't afford the participation fees, costumes, and materials required. That evening, under the stage lights, the Heritage High School Rising Stars Boosters was born from a simple but powerful belief—that financial circumstances should never dim a student's star.

What started as a small committee organizing bake sales and car washes has blossomed into a thriving organization that has transformed the performing arts landscape at Heritage High. Over the past six years, we've grown from supporting a handful of students to providing comprehensive assistance to over 150 young artists annually. Our fundraisers have evolved from modest community events to elaborate galas that bring together parents, alumni, local businesses, and arts patrons. More importantly, we've witnessed countless students discover their voice, build confidence, and develop skills that extend far beyond the stage—all because a community believed in them enough to remove the barriers standing in their way.
